Ingredients to make Beef Gravy Recipe

Butter

Drippings From Roasted Meat

Peppers

Salt

2 Large Measuring Cups

Gravy Boats

Gravy Ladles

Saucepans

Wire Whisks

1/4 c. flour

2 c. beef broth

Directions to make Beef Gravy Recipe

Step 1:Pour the drippings from a roasted piece of meat into a large measuring cup.
Step 2:Skim fat from the drippings; reserve 1/4 c. fat.
Step 3:Place the degreased drippings into a 2-cup measuring cup. Add enough beef broth to measure 2 cups.
Step 4:Whisk the 1/4 c. fat and flour together in a medium-sized saucepan, over low heat. Cook a few moments, whisking.
Step 5:Slowly whisk the 2 c. drippings and broth into the flour mixture.
Step 6:Cook, whisking, over medium heat, until thick and bubbling. Cook one minute more, season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve.
